WHAT IS THE GRANITE MAN TRIATHLON?

Granite Man takes place in the Rogue River National Forest at Applegate Lake. This event has grown into a full weekend of off-road sports with a little something for everyone.  The trail around the lake is the race… epic views of mountains, while you race.  There aren’t too many Triathlons that are off-road, and this is for those that love to Cross-Country Mountain Bike!  Swim in clean snowmelt waters, under the Snow Capped Red Butte Mountain range on the epic PCT!

We have Triathlons, Duathlons, Aqua Bike (Swim & Bike race), Team Racing, a Kid’s Tri, a Kid’s Duathlon, and more!  A few years ago, we This year added a race category for Stand Up Paddle Boarders in the triathlon, as an option for those of you who don’t want to swim.

Trail runners!  On Sunday, we have a 5k and 10k trail run up Collins Mt. and around Applegate Lake. Come see for yourself why this event is a Southern Oregon favorite!

Granite Man is authorized by the Rogue River – Siskiyou National Forest through a special use permit.  Thank our local Forest Service Rangers for protecting and keeping our Forests EPIC!
